Unearth
Stings of Conscience CD

one word: fuck! these guys are the kings of metalcore right now. you can't imagine the breakdowns and riffs these guys come up with. you can dance in your house by yourself to this shit, and you will. unearth will make you move. can't really compare it to anything in particular, but this is definitely the definition of metalcore, hardcore's brutal breaks and metal's driving riffage.

Darkest Hour
Mark Of The Judas CD

A fine CD by a fine band. This is album is better than the follow up, "So Sedated, So Secure", in my opinion. The first track, the last track, and the acoustic track are the highlights. A really strong release. This should be enjoyed by anyone who likes metal.

Taking Back Sunday
Tell All Your Friends CD

This album is a wonderful breath of fresh air. Very different from other albums in the genre, it can't just be pigeon holed as just another emo album. The best thing about this cd, the layered vocals. The two singers, and occasional guests, blend so well the screams, high notes, and everything else. Each song is very unique on this cd. And they do not sound like Saves The Day or anything like Dashboard. Comparing them to those two is unfair to TBS. They have their own sound, and it rocks! Great hooks, guitars, everything. Buy it!

New Found Glory
From The Screen To Your Stereo CD

This cd gets a 2 because it's too short, and it is a cd of movie tune covers. I really like NFG, and a couple of songs on here are good, but it's the fact that they made a cd of movie tune covers. For die hard NFG fans only.

Nora
Loser's Intuition CD

Rock and fuckin' roll. Nora is so very hardcore, yet so very metal at the same time. They really make you want to tear shit up. The only drawback to Nora is their singer's voice does not ever change, and he has no range. But his voice isn't bad despite that, and their music just plain rocks. If you like hardcore and metal, there is no reason for you to not like this cd. Buy it!

Casualties
Underground Army CD

Street and pogo punk are for stupid, dumbass fashion kids. This album sounds like any other street punk album. It Sucks. Filled with unintelligent lyrics and unoriginal music. Fuck street punk. UP THE PUNX'S ASSES!!

Casualties
For the Punx CD

This album sucks a huge cock. The Casualties have very uninspiring lyrics and dull, monotonous music. This is definitely for the punx, because the punks are all stupid, drunk, ignorant fashion kids that scream about screwing the system while smoking a Marlboro and drinking a Budweiser. Fuck the Casualties and fuck street punks in their stupid asses.

Harvest
Transitions CD

Harvest is no longer together, but this cd is a reminder of how much they kicked ass. Their sound is very heavy, but not enough to call it metal or metalcore. You know it is hardcore when you hear it. "Auburn" is about the most mosharific song around. If you like new hardcore or metalcore you will like this album. A couple of the guys went on to do The Hope Conspiracy, so if you like it check them out too. Awesome CD.

NOFX
Punk In Drublic CD

What can you say, this is NOFX's best album. Full of the humor and political wit they are known for, and some of their best music. The last song, "Scavenger Type", with just Fat Mike and an acoustic guitar is heart wrenching. You can only like this more as time goes on. The standard they have not passed since. Buy it, but it now!!!!!

Snapcase -Progression Through Unlearning CD

Snapcase
Progression Through Unlearning CD

This cd was a natural progression(no pun intended) from "Lookinglasself". The recording is different, but not in a bad way. The guitars are heavier, and Darryl's vocals are clearer. The songs aren't all better, but they sound better. Worth buying just for the songs "Caboose", "Guilty By Ignorance", "Zombie Prescription", and "She Suffocates". Not as awesome and groundbreaking as "Lookinglasself", but way, way better than "Designs For Automotion".
