I really did not mind their last CD ("Bright Lights...") and its overproduction and experimentation with grandiose sound. I thought "hey, The Clash did the same with London Calling." However, it was just so refreshing to hear the grit and roughness of this new CD. I thought the production was done perfectly to capture the raw edge lost on their last few efforts. It's short, dramatic, and physical. It made me wish Rancid would do the same on their Dominoes CD.
