i don't typically buy live albums, but as a jawbreaker fan that can't get enough, i figured i should get this one. the sound quality is really good and all the songs are just as great as on their respective albums, if not better, since the energy is there. and hey, you get a couple of unreleased songs, so why wouldn't you pick this up?
This is without a doubt one of the greatest albums I've ever heard (and that's saying alot . . . I own over 2,000). I couldn't even begin to anticipate what was going to happen next . . . each song keeping me on my toes with beginning, middle, end, seeming to be different songs entirely. With this one true masterpiece, Blake Schwarzenbach has begun what I consider to be an evolution of rock 'n' roll (which has remained untouched for quite some years now) and like a John Lennon or a Brian Wilson, he's proven his musical genius throughout his impressive discography, but especially on "Four Cornered Night".
