Skwert is insane. Gloriously, wonderfully off his rocker. You can tell just listening to this bipolar disorder condition of an album. It's hardcore punk, techno, rap, crack rocksteady at it's most mental. I wouldn't reccomend listening to it if you're the closeminded type that thinks that anything that isn't hardcore punk sucks because there's loads of different influences on here, it's one of those brilliant pieces of work that defies genre, classification and expectation. Skwert's vocals careers over the place from jabbering yells to melodic wailing to throaty growls. The instrumentation is intense, moving beyond basic guitar/bass/drums there's horns, synths, I think I heard a glockenspiel at one point. If that sounds like it's your bag then buy it, if it isn't then don't come complaining ta me!
