Aggrolites
Reggae Hit L.A. CD

Good Nu Reggae from the Aggrolites...Very Soulful...If you like the Aggrolites, their best instrumental work is on the Tim Armstrong Poet's Life Album...Check it out!

Rockabilly Tribute To The Ramones CD

If you love the Ramones, odds are you will love this album...It is very catchy and easy to listen to over and over. I am a big rockabilly fan as well and I do feel that some of the versions of the Ramones tunes could have been jazzed up a little more...It's kinda like they just replaced Johnny with an acoustic guitar and had Gene Vincent sing the Lyrics while Joey was busy walking up and down his stairs a hundred times (Joey had OCD for those non Ramone maniacs). Overall I think this album is great, although if you are a huge rockabilly fan you may find this album a bit weak on it's chops. The songs are great of course, yet they are all staright forward covers no interpretation at all...Hey Ho Let's Go!

Crazy Baldhead
The Sound Of '69 CD

Very disspointed in this album...The best part about the album is the artwork and liner notes (Written by Scratchy Myers). Don't get me wrong the players on this album are exceptional just the song choices and versions leave a lot to be desired...Singers include Steve Jackson (Pietasters), Vic Ruggiero (Slackers), Alex Desert (Hepcat) and Bucket (Toasters). The band features Eddie Ocampo, Victor Rice, Vic Ruggiero and, of course, Agent Jay. Dave Hillyard and Glen Pine, of The Slackers, make up the horn section.

Clash
Rude Boy VHS Video

This is a great item, a piece of punk history...Although the story at times jumps all over the place it is easy to follow if you can understand cockney and the queens english...I loved the live and studio footage, great sound track as well. You must get this if you love the clash or British punk...This is not recommend for a casual punk or someone without a deep respect for the clash.

Me First And The Gimme Gimmes
Are A Drag CD

Of course anything that MFGG puts their hands on turns to gold, but unless you were a theater major in college, alot of these tunes won't strike a chord with you. I dug alot of the tunes, although I had never seen or heard the musical before, but I absoulutely loved "Over the Rainbow" and "Raining on Prom Night"...The rest are just ok...A must have for a true Me First fan and any sicko that spent time in theater...
