Alkaline Trio
Halloween At The Metro Chicago - The Show Must Go Off! DVD

I am a huge Alk3 fan, and have been for many years now, and I must say this DVD is a must buy for fans of the band. It captures their live setting perfectly, and It is definetly worth the 15 dollars. The only problem I can say about this, is that you can tell at certain times that the sound is off from the actual video. Must be a dubbing glitch there.

Rise Against
Generation Lost DVD

To put it simply, this DVD is a must-have for any Rise Against fan. The main center piece here is the "How we Survive" documentary... which is just amazing. While so many other bands have so-called "documentaries" which include nothing more than drunken antics backstage or things of that nature, this is truly a documentary in every sense of the word. It really goes in deep, and features alot of footage of Tim and Brandon with their children. Instead of just giving you the entertainment factor, it makes you feel as if you are closer to them. It also features interview cuts from fellow punks like Fat Mike, #2, and many others. I almost cried with laughter at the first scene with Fat Mike... (I wont give it away, you'll have to watch it yourself!)

Aside from the documentary, you get live performances of "injection", "Black Masks and Gasoline", "Paper Wings" and "Like the Angel", all taken from their 5 sellout shows at the Troubadour last May.

To top it off there are all of Rise Against's music videos to date, as well as the making of "Swing Life Away", and "Ready to Fall".

For the price of this DVD, you definetly cannot beat it at all.
