This Album is amazing if you want to listen to insane guitar for an hour. I was very impressed with how the drummer and everyone in the band can keep up with Li. They did a good job mixing up the songs, but at some points you can't really tell which song you are listening to.
Okay for the bad news, I was hoping to be able to listen to ZP voice for more then like 10% of the album, did they get him as like a gimmick or something? I want to hear more of his voice, but then again, this band is all about the guitar.
I've been a long time fan of anberlin. I was extatic when I heard that were coming out with a new cd. When I first got it, I didn't know what to think of it, as I listened to it more and more I grew more inlove with it. Then I kept listening. I realized most of the songs on this cd have the EXACT same layout to the song, just with different words and beats. The best songs on the CD are the ones that break away from the monatiny that is overly abundant in this album.
If I were to stear my friends torwards anberlin this would be the LAST cd I would have them listen to. I still believe Blueprints for the Black Market, and Never Take Friendship Personal was way better cd's. They we're way more inovative, and more diverse.
Oh and by the way, Inevitable, probably one of the worst song I have ever listened to.
