Copyrights
Learn The Hard Way CD

This album is The Copyrights at their best. It was nearly impossible to top "Mutiny Pop" and "Make Sound", but The Copyrights have come very close to topping those masterpieces with "Learn the Hard Way." Simply put, with the exception of The Chinese Telephones full length, you're not going to hear a better pop-punk album this year. Definitely recommended for fans of Screeching Weasel, The Ramones, The Methadones, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Lillingtons...etc.

Make Sound CD

Seriously, I would give this album more than a five if it were possible. The Copyrights last album, "Mutiny Pop", was one of the best pop-punk releases last year and "Make Sound" miraculously manages to blow that release out of the water.

There is simply no band out there today that plays better pop-punk than The Copyrights. From start to finish, there is not one bad song on this CD, and you'll be singing along to half the songs before the album is finished.

Best Tracks on the album: Kids of the Black Hole, Knee Deep, Pentagrams, The Company, Planet Earth 1994, Flat. If you aren't singing along to these songs then you don't have a pulse.

I recommend this CD for fans of bands like: Teenage Bottlerocket, The Lillingtons, The Methadones, and so on...
