Green Day
Dookie DVD

If you haven't seen the VH1 Behind The Music of the band Green Day, buy this. Otherwise, that's all this DVD really is. I must admit, it's really interesting hearing Larry Livermore's take on the Green Day phenomenon.

After School Special -Wrong 7

After School Special
Wrong 7"

After reading about After School Special, I realized that they never toured. The first time I ever heard these guys was on a compilation CD-R my friend gave to me. Most songs are about personal issues, Starbuck's coffee, etc. My favorite song is "Wrong." Kinda reminds me of Screeching Weasel at times. Mutant Pop Records put this one out.

Tromeo & Juliet (Picture Disc) LP

This is one of the funniest compilations i've ever heard. I guess without seeing the movie i'm not getting the whole picture anyways. My favorite tracks are by: Sublime, Motorhead, and the Wesley Willis Fiasco. Everything else was pretty dorky and just kinda blended in. I wouldn't say it's not worth $8 but it just isn't...

Hewhocorrupts/Fork Knife Spoon -Split 7

Hewhocorrupts/Fork Knife Spoon
Split 7"

He Who Corrupts pulls off another weird Grind split via their business and/or record label HWC Inc. Fork Knife Spoon have an awesome Fast Political Hardcore type sound and their tracks prove me correct on this release. Very emotional and definatly a class split. Worth every penny...Buy or die!

V/A -Brouhaha 7

Brouhaha 7"

What can I say? Any comp with bands from the Gilman/Bay Area Scene is gonna be an instant collecter. I thought the best tracks on here by far were Jawbreaker doing "Caroline," and Cringer covering Monsula's "Razors." Buy this if not for the awesome cover...

For the Punx CD

This band need not an introduction. Words cannot describe the amount of respect this band has received in the past from the entire Oi/Punk scenes all over the U.S. Spiky Haired Durnk Punk at it's best!!
