Beat Beat Beat
Living In The Future CD

This is a nice album if you like Beat Beat Beat. Their limited tour release thing and the Cheap Time 7" got me hooked. That was over a year ago. I love those records a ton. The best, most heartfelt stuff in a long time. This is basically the same stuff but it's just been re-recorded for this album with the other half of the songs being new stuff. I still like the sound of the original records better. Probably just used to them. But I definitely dig the new tunes that are on here. That's for damn. They're definitely growing on me with every rotation. Pick it up! 5 stars.

Exploding Hearts
Shattered CD

What to say about The Exploding Hearts that hasn't already been said? Damn fine band, gone way too soon. They left us one amazing album “Guitar Romantic” and a few singles. All essential btw. If you don't own the singles that go for crazy money now, this is a must-buy. It collects all the singles and a bunch of alternate mixes of songs. Listening to this cd will make you cry at how truthful and totally great these songs are and how cool The Exploding Hearts really were. Pick this release up if you like them or classic hooky punk/power pop. RIP July 20th, 2003 The Exploding Hearts: Adam, Jeremy, Matt. Gone but never forgotten. PS: Check out surviving member Terry’s band The Nice Boys album on Birdman for similar sounds. There's some members of The Riffs in that band as well. Interpunk stocks the cd/lp.

Dangerous Magical Noise CD

This cd is quite good but not as excellent and infectious as Ultraglide In Black was. Some songs on here were kind of bland for my taste but don't let that disarm you from buying this album. I've read several reviews in magazines and they gave it 5 stars so it's up to the person that listens to it. Make up your own damn mind! I think we can say that The Dirtbombs are undeniably genius in their own right! Mick is a modernday mesiah! My favorite song was #14 the Brian Eno cover! Up the punx, skinz, and everyone else! Thanks.

Defects -Defective Breakdown CD

Defective Breakdown CD

This is a really great cd. The Defects are fucking classic. This guys are more punk rock than oi! so don't listen to the other guy. the Defects remind me a bit of The Skeptix. There's this really stupid song on here called "Suspicious Minds" It's an Elvis cover. It's horrible. Their manager thought they could be tamed down and be a popular band so that's why it's on there. If you like UK82 stuff these guys might be your next favorite band.
