Bloodshot Bill
Trashy Greasy Rockin' Billy CD

It is dam near impossible to put this CD on and only play one track. Before you know it you're halfway through the album and you've cracked open a 6-pack. This is raw, hypnotic Rockabilly of the very highest order.

Ratos De Porao
Onisciente Coletivo CD

It seems a little strange does it not that it should be an old fart from Northern Ireland that writes the first review of a Brazilian band in a North American web site? Small world! Anyway, the review. Holy Shiittt !! but this is good. Very aggressive, very loud and very pissed off. A great mix of punk, hardcore and metalcore all played to the extreme. It kinda reminds me in parts of Napalm Death in their 'Leaders not followers' covers phase. All but one track is sung in Portuguese which I'm much in favour of. More non-English speaking bands should be proud to sing in their native language in my opinion. Brilliant stuff.

We Are Who We Eat CD

Another stormer of a release from The Other. Good solid production and yet more great songs. Lover's Lane being the pick of the bunch. They have used the prototype Misfits sound and added the slightest hints of The Damned and The Sisters of Mercy to great effect. Highly recommended for all fans of Horrorpunk. Take my word for it Punk Pickers and hit that button. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Trace Of A Stranger CD

I've been playing this through the old headphones all day in work (It's been one of those days) and I'm happy to report Punk Pickers that it ain't bad. It ain't original but it ain't bad. Hell, originality is over rated anyway. I mean, how many bands can, hand on heart, claim to be totally original? Blitzkid do however have a few tricks up their sleeves which make this an enjoyable descent through the catacombs of horror punk and all for the princely sum of $7-75. Ah, you can't beat it with a big stick!

Punk Rock Is Dead CD

There will no doubt be plenty of Glen Danzig fans queuing up to knock this release by 'that other Ex-Misfit vocalist' but the truth is that this is pretty good stuff. Undeniably Misfit sounding but more than strong enough to be sold on it's own merit without the Misfits tag. One of my favorite cd's of 2005.
