My Morning Jacket
Z (Double) LP

What can I say? Flawless. Badman Records know how to press their vinyl. Heavy virgin vinyl? Cut loud with deep bass? Quality double jackets? Hell yes, yes, and yes.

Excellent album, but what the hell was Island thinking pressing 50 minutes on only two sides of vinyl? The album sounds like shit on any set up, especially the inner grooves; unbearable.

What It Is To Burn (Limited Edition) Double LP

Decided to buy the vinyl version since I love this album so damn much. It's absolutely amazing. I had a feeling that the sound wasn't going to be that great (previous Drive-Thru Records vinyls weren't the best), however the sound is very rich and smooth... and I loved every second.

There is only one downfall: The tracklisting didn't list the song 'What It Is To Burn', so I assumed that they left it off (it was a bonus on the cd in demo form anyways), but when 'Ender' finished the first time I listened to it 'What It Is To Burn' began to play. At first I was jumping for joy, but it slowly faded out and the record stoped. Damn you Drive-Thru for teasing me like that! Oh well, I didn't expect it anyways.... but it would have been nice.

Overall, it's an amazing album that blows me away every time I listen to it and it should be in your collection too.

Fantastic release. They recently signed to Island, so whenever they come around to recording their next album, Island better release that on vinyl. Now where's the 'My Heart Will Always Be The B-Side To My Tongue' vinyl, Fueled By Ramen?

By far the best album from The Movielife. If you've only heard their recent releases on Drive Thru Records than you've been missing out. Truely a classic that will never be forgotten. It's really too bad that the band broke up, it seemed like they still had a few more solid releases in them.
