Briggs
Numbers CD

Great punk rock, period. Combining West Coast hardcore, spirit of '77 punk, and classic Oi, the Briggs have created a unique and powerful sound that will kick your ass. The brothers LaRocca, along with Duck Matthews and Chirs X, have outdone themselves on this one. Musically and lyrically the albums rocks from start to finish. Although i liked some of the more popular songs from the record like Media Control and Bored Teenager, i found some of the more obscure songs like Voice Box, Keep us Alive, and Dead Men (Don't Tell Tales) to be the best on the album. All in all, it's a great record and a must have for punk fans. It doesn't matter if you like Cock SParrer or the Casualties, you'll like this record.

Cock Sparrer
Shock Troops (Re-issue) CD

Holy hell, this is one amazing record. It's fast-paced, english pub-punk from one of the greatest Oi bands ever, Cock Sparrer. Shock Troops contains some of Sparrer's best works, including Watch Your Back, England Belongs to me, Riot Squad, and Argy Bargy. But there are also some surprises on here, like the melodic and poignant Out on an Island and the goofy Colonel Bogey. The record is a classic. I would recommend this for any punk who is getting into Oi, or the Business' Suburban Rebels.
