Valley Of The Damned CD

Very good album. Their latest (inhuman rampage) is, in my humble opinion, definitely better. But this one is much more inspired than Sonic Firestorm. I just hate their slow songs on each of their albums. They sound too much like 80's rock

On The Last Day
Meaning In The Static CD

I'll say it now, I'm not a big fan of Screamo bands. I hate much of them because they tend to go too much on the commercial side (the emo side). The last good CD of this kind that I listened to was Silverstein: discovering the waterfront. I'd like tell you, like the sticker on the disc, that this band sounds like AFI (who now sucks behond redemption)) or Aiden (who pretty much sucks also) or even My Chemical Romance (who sucks even more) but it would be simplifying a band that derserves to be recognize for who they are and not for how they sound like the most. I think in all the sea of bands wearing white makeup, singing about dark subjects and trying to depress the hell out of you, they are the ones that achieve it perfectly. They have a sound of their own, great speed and a good balance between the screaming and the singing, and they are sticking to it throughout the album. This band could be bigger than all those bands I mentioned above, they would deserve it but I personnaly hope they will stay in the shadows a bit longer so that I don't have hear kids taking about them and some crappy wannabe punk band like angels and airwaves(MAN DO THEY SUCK!!!) in the same sentence. So, go on My Space, listen to one of their song. If you like what you hear from one song, you'll like the album garanteed !

Bombshell Rocks
Conclusion CD

Disappointed would be an understatement when it comes to this release. I would give this CD a 2 but the their last release was so good that It forces me to mark my disapointment with a 1/5. The singer is gone (and it shows) and it seems to have wounded the band deeply because they seem to keep singing about it. The song golden is pretty good (sounds like a Bad Religion song). But it is way too little way too late. Buy their album: From Here and On instead.THIS is just weak.

Flogging Molly
Within A Mile Of Home CD

This CD is as close as perfect a album can be. I know some poeple will disagree with me on this but I really thing this is, in my opinion, the best Molly CD to date. Of course not every album can have (but should) a song like Drunken Lullabies on it. Flogging Molly are in a league of their own. This a voyage through pain, sorrow, joy and triumph. This is how music should make you feel

Wow, I can't believe how much this thing sucks. AFI officially became mainstream whores with this pile of crap. I'm not even considering this as an Emo cd, this is much worse than that. They should have changed their name in the process. The fact that this is the same band that gave us Black sails in the Sunset is just behond comprehension. Don't touch it, it'll burn your soul.
