V/A
Punk Rock Mix Tape 2006 CD

Has a good variety of styles, but I doubt most can be satisfied with every track. I bought the cd hoping to discover a new artist like Against All Authority, the Suicide Machines, Whole Wheat Bread, or Big D, but as a previous reviewer stated, I already had most of the tracks i prefered on different CDs. The shirt was cool.

I agree with Alex quite a bit in the fact that I believe that it is a step above dinosaur sounds. If ska/punk listeners come into this album with an open mind, they are sure to enjoy it. This album further establishes Catch 22 as a prodominant group in this genre. I enjoyed that the album has a slightly deep theme, but still expect catchy instrumentation and fast paced singing that has made you fall for this group.

Against All Authority
Restoration Of Chaos & Order CD

This cd is pretty awesome. Although I enjoy ska and ska punk, this cd is pretty much straight forward punk rock with ska influences on guitar and horn lines on just a couple tracks. The song Circle Pit is so catchy, but in a good way. This song alone is enough of a reason to purchase the album. Other notable tracks include Shut it Down and Radio Waves, the only ska punk track on the album.
