CJ Ramone
Reconquista (Picture Disc) LP

Tyler, not Emily. This picture disc looks amazing. The music is great too. CJ's last release (Bad Chopper) was a lot rawer and I dig that one a little more....but the Bad Chopper LP is probably the best solo/side Ramones project of all so it's a little hard to top. Reconquista is more like a tribute to the Ramones. There's songs that wouldn't seem out of place on End Of the Century (You're the Only One, Now I Know), there's cowpunk (Goin Home), Bad Chopper style songs (King Cobra, Ghost Ring), two cool covers, and straight Ramones style songs like "what we gonna do now" and "shut up". The best song of all though is "Three Angels", one of the best Ramones tributes I ever heard. "Low On Ammo" is great too. The record is not perfect....."Nobodys Sweetheart" is the lowpoint and I think the unreleased song "Reconquista" should've been in its place. But any Ramones fan will really dig this release. CJ always knew his place as a Ramone and that's why true Ramones fans love him.

Devil Dogs
30 Sizzling Slabs CD

this is tyler and emily.

Okay, you get 3 Devil Dogs releases, on one cd for the price of a normal cd. 32 songs by one of the coolest rock'n'roll bands ever! Perfect mix of the Ramones, 50's rockabilly, and 60's garage rock. Really cool show poster on the inside as well featuring a drawing of Teengenerate squaring off with the Devil Dogs! So cool! Buy dumbass.

Queers
Don't Back Down (2017 Reissue with 3 Bonus Tracks) CD

This is Tyler and Emily. This is classic Queers, plain and simple. Theres no point of rambling about this too long, because every review is most likely the same. This is perfect mix of Ramones and the Beach boys. Number One is one of the best love songs ever written, along with Today I fell in Love off of Punk rock confidential. Great to start with if your not familiar with the Queers. Buy now!

Groovie Ghoulies
Freaks On Parade CD

This is Tyler and Emily. One thing sucks about this cd, and it's that it's TOO DAMN SHORT. These songs rule! To the point that the songs should've been held off and made into a full length. So much fun. Great band for kids you know that are destroying their innocent little minds with brutal MTV pop/punk. Show them this and tell them that this is what real pop/punk is supposed to sound like. It's just plain fun, goofy songs about dates with a jet pack, the coolness of Godzilla, and so on. FUN AND STUPID. Thats what pop/punk is supposed to be. If you like this ep, and want to buy this quality Groovie Ghoulies in a full album, get fun in the dark. Other then the fact that their is only 6 songs here however, there is no way you'll dissapointed with this, and the shortness is the only reason i gave it a 4 out of 5.

Street Dogs
Savin Hill CD

This is Tyler and Emily. Okay, this album was the Street Dogs first record, and could easily be one of the best punk records of the last 10 years. Mike MacColgan is better here then he was with the Murphys, another great band, but the Street Dogs have less of that irish novelty thing going (still strong, just not as over the top as the murphys). The album just puts you in a really good mood, especially if you work a crummy job and need something to pick up your spirits at 8:30am in your car. They even cover Sham 69's Borstal Breakout, and redo it into "Boston Breakout". Buy this album if you like good, traditional Boston style street punk. You won't be dissapointed.

Riverdales
Storm The Streets CD

This is Tyler and Emily. Okay, out of the 3 Riverdales albums, Storm the streets is without a doubt their best effort. All 3 are amazing, but for mixing both Vapids 50's pop melodies (i will make it up to you, don't let them beat my baby) and ben's odd ball guitar riffs and gunner to the end style songs (cementhead and blood on the ice just plain rule), this album, along with the best production, just plain kicks ass. I can stress enough if your a fan of the Ramones, 50's rock'n'roll, and just good music all together, you need this album. The drum sound is so close to the first Ramones album, it's scary.
