Count Me Out
110 CD

I'd recommend getting Permanent (CMO's 2nd and last LP) first, still this is really good. Not the usual fast sXe 88' style hardcore, i mean speaking about their music: this is fast, but massive at the same time. This is sometimes melodic but usually dark (hence the comparation with Chain of Strength). Really intense stuff, courtesy of the singer's brutality and of the drummer's blasting snare drum. Plus, the lyrics are not the stupid cliché stuff one could expect of sXe hardcore.

Days Of The White Owl CD

An amazing piece of punk hardcore. Way better than the self-titled EP. 'Furious' is the word describing best the singer's (Eric Unit Pride) vocals. The music is solid: fast, raw, never really melodic nor actually 'sung', but at the same time danceable. Sounds a bit like a more furious, more 'streety' pre-"Black Sails in the Sunset" AFI.

Behind Enemy Lines
Global Cannibal CD

This is so much more powerful than Aus-Rotten! The "singer" is really amazing! Fast brutal metal punk delivered with power and emergency, and with great political commitment through really staight-forward lyrics. Their first LP is just as good.

Feeding Of The 5,000 CD

What would i say about Crass that you couldn't know? Well, i'd say that, at first, this is really weird, i mean it's not the usual old punk rock music, it's CRASS, and it's rather undescribable. I'd say this is a funny piece of brilliant, addictive punk art. An experiment. And the vocals are awesome too. I won't even tell you about the collective's history and ethics..inspiring.

Path Of Resistance
Who Dares Wins CD

Ah, the Path. Not-overproduced brutal youth crew-style hardcore (think of a more moshy JUDGE) with 3 "singers" (one of them being Karl earth crisis): for non native english speakers, a real delight! For the rest of you...mmm...let's say christian hardline straight edgers will really enjoy!

Where Fear And Weapons Meet -Control 7

Where Fear And Weapons Meet
Control 7"

I like the LP better, still, this one's musically solid. More metal (tuned down guitars) and less 'in-yer-face', but enjoyable. 'enjoyable', that's it.

Dead Kennedys
Plastic Surgery Disasters/In God We Trust, Inc. CD

A great combination of 2 classic recordings by everyone's favorite politisatiricalsurfhardcorepunkrock band. Though if you want an introduction to the DKs, i'd suggest Bedtime for Democracy. But that's just me. Jello for prez!
