Rise Against
The Sufferer and The Witness [Explicit Content] CD

It's been over 4 months since this CD came out, and it still gets played by me. I liked this CD so much better than Siren Song. I thought SS was a bit underwhelming, and it was very mainstream. Well, Swing Life Away was mainstream, as well. When You have Bill Stevenson producing, you'd have to be the worst band in the world to have a bad product. There are a few songs I skip, but it's an otherwise solid album.

Set Your Goals
Mutiny CD

Mutiny! The CD started out acoustic, so I was sort of apprehensive. Then it started rocking pretty much out of the gate. If you're into the new school hardcore sound and the older hardcore sound ala Lifetime, you might want to check this out.

Converge
No Heroes CD

No Heroes. I wasn't sure what to think when I had first heard this CD. It was a aural mindfuck, to say the least. After a few subsequent listens, I decided that I really liked this CD. If you're into Converge, you should pick this up, you won't be disappointed. If you're not too familiar with hardcore, and aren't into crazy screaming, this may not be for you. This is one of my favorite records of the year.

Comeback Kid
Wake The Dead CD

Ahh... Comeback Kid. They recorded with Bill Stevenson for this record, so the production is top-notch. For fans of With Honor, Carry On, Champion, or any 80's hardcore revival bands. If you like any of those bands named above, you'll probably like these guys. Check 'em out, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Armor For Sleep
What To Do When You Are Dead CD

Armor For Sleep, I found their first cd to be rather boring. But, I really enjoy this record. To me, it's very progressive, and it's a decent concept album. Reminds me of Coheed and Cambria at times, but that's not a bad thing at all. Check it out if you're a fan of Coheed, or even if you like solid rock.

Fall Of Troy
Doppelganger CD

This cd is pretty dang good. If you like previous Fall Of Troy recordings, you will probably like this. They changed a couple songs from their first full length, and pretty much turned them into new songs. I'd recommend it.
