Coheed And Cambria
The Second Stage Turbine Blade Vol. 2 Book

Living in Scotland, this book is hard to get. There are only two or three comic book stores in the biggest city in scotland, glasgow, and when i went in to all of them, absolutely none of them knew what it was. Therefore I didnt know what to expect with this book, but overall i enjoyed it. The graphics were disappointing, but they conveyed the meaning of the message well enough. However as i study art in college, i found the pictures were a bit half-hearted and almost cliched, with little depth. You don't need to be a Co&Ca fan to understand this book, but i wouldn't recomend it simply as a comic book as there is much better sci fi available. Saying this, it is a good book, and as i am a big coheed fan, i found this book gave me an nteresting perspective on their music.

Aiden
Nightmare Anatomy CD

So i pre-ordered this cd cause i loved our gangs dark oath. Nightmare Anatomy is themed (as the title gives away) on Aidens phildsohpy of life by exploring nightmares. The lyrics get quite repetitive throughout the cd, however they are stong, it does get a little boring though. When I saw Aiden live at KerrangIV in Scotland, they blew my brains out. It was more than this cd could prepare me for. Bullet for my valentine (headline band of Kerrang tour, totally massive in UK) were swept of the stage by aiden. Aiden made the crowd feel like part of something really big. Aiden will make it big in the UK. They have already had a giant impact.

Underoath
They're Only Chasing Safety CD

This cd is deep screamo and i love it. Highly recomended, however several people have tried to steal it from me. This cd makes me really proud to be christian. The church and several religious leaders in my area give God a really bad name. The last song, "some seek forgiveness, others escape" is how i define God. This cd is a masterpiece.

JamisonParker
Sleepwalker CD

With songs like Slow Suicide and Best Mistake, JamisonParker are a band for all those kids out there who dont want to listen to riddles and confusion. Its for those people who want to listen to raw emotion. It doesnt make me cry, but it makes me think, and it makes me feel a lot better about myself, somehow. It made me think that rejected, broken hearted or just depressed people are not actually the ones who are flawed, but it is the world around them and people that made them what they are that need to change. You can tell these two men have poured their hearts into this album, and its hard to believe this band is only two men. The sequencing and sound engineering are also great. All my friends have heard this album and love it as much as i do.

Funeral For A Friend
Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation CD

I love this album. Its so british. The guitar, lyrics, vocals, everything is amazing. The only shame is Juneau lost its emo-ing out quality. You can tell the sound engineer is less contemporary than on the previous ep, but the band have matured a lot since this and have mastered all songs to perfection. This is a band britain is really proud of. No offence to any christians, but its so great not to have the last song as an "God loves me..." song. The art is awesome, it gives the impression of the boundaries and heart-break that the music provokes.

Matchbook Romance
Stories And Alibis CD

This is a very emotional cd, with amazing lyrics. However sometimes it seems to repeat itself just too far, which is a shame. You have to admire the graphic design and thought that has gone into the making of the cover. Theres a hidden bonus at the end of this cd as well and it is a welcome surprise, but strange and of no value.

Revolution On Canvas Book

I really love this book. It's very inspirational and is not what I expected. It seems to get more beautiful every time I read it.
