This is a fantastic book. I tried very hard to pace myself when reading it, but I just couldn't put it down. Being the story of a punk kid growing up in a rigid conformist society (where I'm from nonetheless, NEAT!), and finally escaping, only to find the utopia he expected didn't really exist. If you were into punk in the 80s, get it. If you're in a band, get it. If you can read, get it.

This CD was kind of a mixed bag. The acoustic CD is everything you could want it to be, and absolutely wonderful. The treated disc, however, left something to be desired. Which is not to say that it isn't good, in fact many of the songs are great. Sadly, some are just not good at all, ESPECIALLY Cactus, which dissapointed me since I love Cactus. All in all, if you're big Pixies fan, get it. If not, I wouldn't bother.

These are two of the greatest albums ever recorded in one for the price of just Surfer Rosa. If you dont have either of these albums, then you have no good excuse to not get this. The worst songs on this album are at least a little good. Definately a perfect 5.
