Down To Earth Approach
Another Intervention CD

Hmmmm...I took a chance on this one and it looks like I lost. I think the musicianship tends to be melodic however I have a problem with the vocals and lyrics. The vocals are extremely nasely which for other bands it works but not these guys. The lyrics are not very memorable as well. I listened to this cd probably about 4 times all the way through can I can make out one song from another. It all sort of blends together. Overall this album is average at best....nothing great.

Buy the new Rise Against.

Say Anything
Is A Real Boy CD

wow....I'm not sure what all the chatter is about this album. I have to say it's not that great. I think there are two songs that may be good for a mixed cd but other than that it's pretty annoying. From my understanding this is a one person band and with that said I wont say he's not talented. However, his vocal delivery is all over the place. I'm just not feeling it...

Coheed And Cambria
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 CD

Amazing my opinion alot better than the first. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of the first cd. I thought the vocals were fantastic but the songs were just all over the place. This time the songs seem more structured and the lyrics are alot more memorable. Trust me and the rest of the others that have posted here....this is one amazing piece of music. I have a feeling these guys are just getting warmed up.

Dashboard Confessional
A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar CD

I have to say I listened to this CD a few times last night with hopes that the songs would start to pop out at me....unfortunately they didn't. First off this is not Dashboard Confessional anymore. Anyone looking for Chris and his accoustic will be very disappointed. The NEW Dashboard is all about being PLUGGED IN. In my opinion this prevents the songs from having the intimacy that Dashboard was known for. However, the most disappointing thing about this cd are the lyrics. The lyrics do not stand out compared to the other releases. The songs don't really SCREAM "sing alongs" as they did in the past. This could be because the lyrics are a bit more mature and not as simplistic. To those that been listening to Dashboard since the was about a dude and his guitar. Now it's just a rehased version of "Further Seems Forever".
