Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count CD

Yeah...let down sums it up. After listening to the e-card off their website I was dieing to get this album. Well, if I could have just downloaded the songs off the e-card I would have saved myself some money. Don't get me wrong, some of the songs are really solid, but too many of them see to be put together without much direction. Plus it pisses me off when a band lists a friggin 20 second intro as a "song". There also is a minute long acoustic guitar solo listed as another "song". Why this is on there I have no idea when there is already one actual acoustic song on the album. Pointless filler in my opinion. Ride the Wings and Note to Self are awesome, and there are other good ones as well. Just too many others fall short.

Silence In Black And White CD

This genre tends to to get a lot of heat, but if you're into it then this is a great album. Vocal stylings in the likes of Saves the Day, Thursday and Spitalfield, although there is a lot more throat (i.e. screaming) in it. I admit at first I thought this was another mediocre screamer band, but after giving it a few listen throughs I realized it really is a well done album. Like I said...if you like this genre then it's a must buy.

Great "fun" album...lots of catchy lyrics and beats. This is the the type you'll always be signing to if you realize it or not. Got a sound that reminds me of Nerf Herder with a little Rentals thrown in on some songs. Get won't regret.
