From Autumn To Ashes
Too Bad You're Beautiful CD

Actually it's Tyler. This is probably one of the best records of this genre. FATA stands above everyone else because one they actually have an original sound, two they write better lyrics than the high school poetry that a lot of bands like to stick, and three they have a very diverse range of songs. Like most people Short Stories With Tragic Ending is my favorite. Eulogy of an Angel and Chloroform Perfume are also pretty high up there as well. A year ago no one really knew who this band was, but now they are one of the biggest bands in the scene. So it’s not as cool when I show people this badass CD and they have already heard of the band. But they still kick ass. They are the biggest band right now in the “Emocore” genre but when LUM gets signed they will get pretty big because they are super badass if not better than FATA. I have seen them twice when they came to Spokane, and let me tell you these guys are THE best live band I have seen in a while. Get their EP if you want to impress your friends with a killer CD none of them have ever heard of.

7 Angels 7 Plagues
Jhazmyne's Lullaby CD

This is probably one of the best metalcore cd's I have ever heard. It's to bad they broke up though. Matt Mixon is probably one of my favorite singers ever, his screams are low but not retarded deathmetal low. I like the acoustic and the piano instrumentals they add a lot of diversity to the cd, especially the last piano song. Overall this is a very good album, there are very few cd's I give 5 stars for but this is diffently worthy. This isn't just another unoriginal metalcore band, these guys really stand out from the crowd. Do what ever you can to buy this cd!
