Saves The Day
Stay What You Are (old) LP

Saves The Day gives us more interesting lyrics with some amazing music attached to it. A definate change from their past two albums, but this is a good change (I would guess because Chris Conley wrote almost the entire album). The vocals seem to fit the new style of music a little better. No need to skip any of the songs, they are all great.

Some slower songs, some rocking songs, and absolutely no need to skip any of them. A great mix of Get Up Kids music. Very different from "On A Wire", closer to "Four Minute Mile", but it definately fits between the two. A strong release overall from one of my favorite bands.

Good old ska, where has it gone? (R.I.P. FIF) Anyway, this 7" gives you FIF at their best. The original songs are amazing and the cover of "Mama Mia" is fun too. Its definately worth the four dollars for any FIF fan.

Further Seems Forever/Two Thirty Eight
Split 7''

This is a pretty good 7". The FSF song is pretty rocking, I'm just having trouble getting used to the new singer (even though he is better). On the b-side, this was the first time I heard 238 and I liked them even better than FSF (made me want to listen to more 238).

No exclusive tracks to this release, but all in all its a decent record.
