Philadelphia Sound CD

if you like any of the bands on this comp, then you should probably buy it. i had never heard g!ftt but they were pretty good. the other 3 bands are pretty good as well. if you're into bands like kid dynamite, and also kid dynamite, then you should get this. the only problem is it's like 12 minutes long. but that's ok, sometimes when im not far from home but want to listen to a full cd in the car, this is what i choose.

i thought this was a pretty decent debut. i heard they broke up and if its true, that sucks. i would've liked to see them, their songs seem like they'd be good live. if you like kid dynamite or the bouncing souls, then these dewdz will be RIGHT up your alley!! kirstie alley that is!!

this is a pretty decent cd. if you're into that whole "emo/metal" anything-with-core-for-a-suffix genre, then you may like this. for some reason i thought it was going to be better, but it's alright. the songs on the first half of the cd are better, so maybe if you're at a show of theirs you can just pick up the ep those are on. overall, it's a solid debut album.

great cd, one of the best i've purchased in a while. its different and took some getting used to (namely the guys voice) but once you get past that its awesome. the guitarwork is great, going from soft interludes to hard breakdowns where the guitarists really shred! i cant seem to understand the lyrics, but thats ok cause i heard im not supposed to anyway. you should purchase this if youre looking for something a wee bit different than what youre used to listening to.

Lawrence Arms/Chinkees
Present Day Memories Split CD

this was the cd that led the the lawrence arms signing to fat, so that tells ya somethin! i'd get it just for the lawrence arms songs, which are great. the best 2 songs are "quincentuple your money" and "100 resolutions." the chinkees' songs are some of the happiest and jolliest ska tunes i've ever heard. get this if you're a fan of either or both bands. you will NOT be disappointed, believe me!

Strike Anywhere
Chorus Of One CD

this is a pretty good ep. i suggest you get change is a sound first and then this. all of the songs own. they have a lot of energy and passion behind their music, along with a good message, and thats what makes them strike anywhere.

this review sux dewdz!!! hehehehe ronnerz
