Drive-Thru Records Vol. 1 DVD

Drive-thru DVD... some peoples worst nightmare. But for those of us who like our packaged-pop.. 3 hours of it.. awesome. A little too much Starting Line but the Finch stuff is great. They stand out from the rest of the bands on the label. Drive thru was smart enough not to pack it with NFG.. it gives everyone a good look at the OTHER bands on the label that deserve recognition.. i mean.. Homegrown.. they've been playing sold out shows while most of NFG's new fans were in elementary school... and did anyone notice the lack of Midtown? I did.. and didnt mind..

Leaving Through The Window CD

Punk rock Ben Folds? haha... these guys have a lot of talent and this cd is solid. Some of the songs drag out and lack a hook but the half of the cd that doesnt is amazing and makes up for it. But live on a stage?

What can you say? Great from start to finish.. I dare anyone to name another 3-piece that sounds as full as Alkaline. This is them at their best. And who else can write such beautiful lyrics while being downright vulgar? Hmm.. since Blake and Jawbreaker? No one... Matt and Dan reign supreme... ha..

Keepsake -Black Dress In A

Keepsake
Black Dress In A "B" Movie CD

Every thing these guys have released has been very different. Straying farther and farther from hardcore/screamo roots that they have from Poison The Well. This CD has amazing songwriting written all over it, but if you're looking for screaming and breakdowns like older Keepsake... its not there.. at all.. if you're into both ends of music.. it's awesome. "The End of Sound" is still their best CD without a doubt.

Heroes From The Future CD

These guys are way tight and the singer doesnt sound like EVERY single other vocalist trying to make it in the "scene" right now. Really good band from New England. This EP is a little more rock and a little less pop than their full length. It kicks ass in general. "Little Joey" is a perfect song. Thumbs up to Junction 18.

Midtown
Living Well Is The Best Revenge CD

Not quite "Save The Girl,Lose The World" but still a really solid release. These guys are in a league of their own, and their attitude sure does reflect it. Above average music, but not as great as they could be or think they are. :o)
