Say It Like You Mean It CD

it's okay, i guess. nothing to make you mad, nothing to care about. they write some damn catchy stuff, but it will get on your nerves after some time. it all kinda sounds the same to me. it's not bad, a cool record for summertime maybe, but it's nothing you'll be listening to for months. you just won't spend an afternoon listening to this on your headphones... it's just plain pop rock.

it's just the second release for counterfit, but the band already found its very own style. unique sound. creative songwriting. good vocals and interesting lyrics. you should own this!

great release. very mellow and calm stuff, a little upbeat at times but mostly slow. the vocals might get on your nerves over the length of the album, but they're well sung and fit to the band's sound very well. this is kinda emo style from the mid 90's, when texas is the reason and chamberlain were still around. old fashioned, but still very good.

a release in the tradition of dead poetic, a static lullaby and maybe finch. a lot of great singing parts, some gut-ripping screamo parts. but don't get me wrong: this release isn't hardcore at all. for the most time, it's plain pop rock. good pop rock, for sure, but not as crunchy as a static lullaby for example. they even use a lot of string arrangements and piano at the end of the record. the definitely show some talent - to write pop music. good release.

this is an unbelievable record. i can't say enough good things about it. it's a special sound you don't hear every day... and that's quite rare in these days. no, they don't redefine music, but they simply kick ass. slow songs, fast songs, two singers, a lot of stop's and go's, anything you want! there's so much EMOtion into the songs, you just wanna sing and scream along. if you dig anything like my hotel year, garrison or just rock n roll music you have to go out and get this. intense music doesn't get better than this!
