It's 1985 and Stevo is that rare animal, a punk rocker in the Mormon stronghold of Salk lake City, Utah. He just graduated from college with honors and now his life is a nutty roller coaster ride of rock shows, stealing cars, beating up rednecks and non-stop partying with his buddy, Heroin Bob, and his girfriend. But with the scene getting lame and Stevo going nowhere fast, he has to put his punk ideals to the test. With a choice between "No Future" and Harvard Law School, what's a guy with blue hair supposed to do? Special Features: -Production Notes
-Isolated Music Track
-5.1 Dolby Digital
-Subtitles: English, Spanish, French
-Director & Cast Audio Commentary

I used to think a few years back this movie was like, some kind of lame take on the mainstream culture of "punk". Something that might make me go 'wow, what the hell is this?'. Yeah, and it's really nothing like that at all, after looking into it, then finally watching it. Then I was like, DUDE! I need this fucking movie. It's actually pretty sweet, but it's that kind of movie where you'll only understand it if you're into the whole punk thing, and I mean seriously. Anyone on the outside, unless you're like stupid or something, it's probably just another comedy to you. Even for a movie like this, it brings down some truth on stuff, like anarchy, and theres a lot of cool messages in it, too. fuckin rad soundtrack, too. Buy it.

Alright, if you dont know anything about punk, this movie will leave you thinking that all punks are Drugged up, idiots who just want sex and destruction, not to mention that it helps bring down the truth about Anarchism a little bit more. However for those fimilar with the scene, its a good movie actually one that you should probally have on your must see list. If you know about the scene, then you'll find your self laughing your ass off at parts, and finding a deeper hidden means in others. Not to mention picking apart all the time flaws, if you know anything about punk history thats allways fun. The first time i watched i had mixed feelings on weather i hated the damn movie, or liked it... Then it kinda grew on me after the movie was over... So yeah take it as you like.

I really like this movie..I'm not big on labeling (i.e. punk, poser, prep) but this movie is pretty good..It sort of proves that even the biggest "punk" could turn out to be a "POSER"!!!..

a great movie that will really make u think about life. there are some funny parts, but mostly it is about a kid trying to figure life out, somethin that we are all doing at some point in out life. definetly buy this, even if it does make u a poser.
