Saves The Day

Stay What You Are (old)

Vagrant 953

Released on July 10, 2001

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

This new record showcases Saves The Day's most varied material to date while at the same time continuing in the tradition of the band's known ability to create direct hitting, pop-fueled music. It is fair to say that fans of this genre, the band or punk rock in general will never be the same again.

I was surprized as hell when I saw that this was available on Interpunk. I had seen this available on ebay for very insanely high prices. SWYA is a Saves the Day classic. If you are a fan of the band or album, you should pick this up before it goes OOP.

TBC is easily my favorite Saves the Day album (hey if only Interpunk had that on vinyl! Yea right…) Although Stay What You Are does come in a close second. Good album and nice vinyl

This Is Not An Exit is one of the bestest songs these dudes ever wrote and hearing it on vinyl is downright sexy. We all know this isn't "Through Being Cool" part 2 but whatev. It's a great album, one of my all time faves. Good stuff

Let's just say I bought this album for the sole purpose of putting it in a frame. If it was stolen or something happened to it, I'd buy another.

Pretty good, it is definately better then "In Reverie" but probably not as good as "Through Being Cool". So if you're a first time STD buyer then get TBC first but this isn't bad. I'd say that it is definately worth the money spent but get "Through Being Cool" first. Very good lyrics and Chris Conley sings pretty well and the music complements that. Get it if you're a STD fan.

Saves The Day gives us more interesting lyrics with some amazing music attached to it. A definate change from their past two albums, but this is a good change (I would guess because Chris Conley wrote almost the entire album). The vocals seem to fit the new style of music a little better. No need to skip any of the songs, they are all great.
