On January 13th, 2007, Chase Stain suffered a back injury. After a trip to the E.R., he was prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers to help cope with the pain.
In Stain's hazy state of mind, he embarked on a musical experiment. For three full days, Stain shut off all contact from the world and stayed awake writing and recording his album.
As his body begged for sleep, and the muscle relaxers in his system made him exhausted, the caffeine, pain killers and nicotine forced his mind to race.
The songs on this album are a result of what his mind created during that 72 hour peroid.
