Great CD. This is my favorite DK CD. Jello has the best voice and lyrics. Also get "In God We Trust/Plastic Surgery Diasters". I gave this CD a 5.

I could take the time to type a well thought out review that's at least a paragraph long for this, but what else could I say about this fantastic album that hasn't already been said? If you don't already own it then what are you waiting for?

dead kennedys are bad ass...good band good stuff a talented band with something meaningful to say...they actually talk about things that matter instead of their girlfriend that dumped them 5 years ago

This cd is really good. It's DK's first cd, and it should probably be the first buy for a new DK fan. It's god a lot of their classics on it like: "Kill the poor", "Holiday in Cambodia", and "California Uber Alles". If you're a diehard DK fan this is a must buy, and if you're just looking to get into DK this should be your starter cd.

God I'm so happy I got this cd. All the stores in my area either don't carry DK cos they're conservative chain-store fucks, or they're out of stock on this album. This is the best DK album. The version of Holiday in Cambodia is 10 times better than the Give Me Convenience version cos it's more raw and fast. Gotta have fast music. Now I'm rambling (more than I have been) so I leave you with these words: None of these songs suck. Buy it.

what can I say? this is a just plain awesome CD This is the only DK cd I plan to buy, just because I am a big fan of Jello and am glad that this one didn't get turned over to Maifesto - although the CD does say "digitally remastered w/ East Bay Ray

either way, this CD is just frickin' awesome, everyone needs to hear this CD- then all the Hot Topic kids will think this sucks and realize they're not punk. Even if you've never even heard of DK, buy this, it's well worth the money

What do I say about this album? Jeebus, it's a classic and you all already know that. So I shouldn't have to tell you to buy this one. You should already have it. I'm so glad I finally got it. I had this album on tape for like 10 years, and it finally bit the dust. Though, my fav DK album is "Plastic Surgery Disasters", this is right up there. I just love the fact that Jello's lyrics are still relevant considering the situation these days. The similarity of the times when these songs were written and now is downright frightening. How long before "When Ya Get Drafted" becomes true?

With classics like "Let's Lynch the Landlord", "Forward to Death", and "I Kill Children", you can't go wrong with the first DK Release. Not as heavy as their later stuff but that does not mean it's not heavy in it's own way. If you're a fan of DK and you don't have this one, you're not a fan.
