Queen Hygiene II/Rough Day At The Orifice

Three One G 36

Released on November 18, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Once again Three One G got themselves mixed up w/ those disturbed and distraught human beings from Providence, RI: ARAB ON RADAR. What did they come up with? One compact disc including the first two full-length records ARAB ON RADAR ever created. Queen Hygiene II was originally released in the summer of 1997 by Heparin Records and includes the original bass player Andrea Fiset. Rough Day at the Orifice was originally released in February 1999 by Op Pop Pop records, includes a bass player, and was recorded by the fabulous Weasel Walter.

Dec 9 2006 Rating: 5/5 Stars

I'm extremely glad I ordered this; it's abrasive, simplistic, annoying and wonderful. I'm referring to the first 9 tracks, "Queen Hygiene II," that way. Those tracks are memorable and get you pumped: it's like Arabian music mixed with alarm clock-esque screeches, repetitive drumming and a lo-fi punk guitar/bass. Bizarre lyrics round it out; five stars!

The second half, Rough Day, just isn't as memorable, but decent; three stars. I dig the first nine tracks so much, though, that Rough Day is like a free bonus to me. If you like abrasive, simplistic, annoying and wonderful music, get this.
