This album is pretty awesome from start to finish. Have not been able to stop listening to it. Recently bought suburban teenage wasteland blues and i gotta say i like this one better. STWB's is a great album too and i highly recommend it but this one is awesome. my favorite songs are exhumation of virgina madison, mind of my own, match box. great buy, super cheap, awesome cd. cant really say more. Buy it!

One of the two essential Strung Out albums, the other being STWB. If you're not really into Strung Out i'd suggest buying this one first to get into them. this album has some of their best songs on it such as Mind of My Own, Ultimate Devotion, Exhumation Of Virgina Madison, and Matchbook. Definitely one of the best albums of the nineties and one of the best bands on fat wreck. If you like other SoCal punk bands like Lagwagon or Pulley you'd probably like Strung Out

Great fast-paced, melodic punk rock from a band that conitnues to kickass album after album. no exceptions on this one.

I must say, Strung Out is my favorite band. Strait up punk rock is what they are. No time for pussy riffs or slowing down here. This album is excellent but in all honesty, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues is definitely their best album. But, if you dig Strung Out and already own Teenage Wasteland, this album is a must have compliment to that record. BUY IT!

i expected this to be as good as most fat wreck stuff but it's not. it's really boring- all the songs sound the same and are pretty dull and boring. i guess listening to too much SoCal melodic punk didnt help but i would still say NOFX are way better than these guys. ANyway, it's not unbearable

This is Strung Outs best release in my opinion. they rule but I dont like how they keep getting more and more metal as they go. metal sucks.

This CD is so fucking awesome. Definitly one of the best so cal bands out there, along with pennywise. Very authentic southern california sound. All the songs are really good except for reason to believe. I heard the song Tattoo in a surfing segment on Bluetorch TV so I immediately bought this CD Matchbook, Tattoo and Paperwalls are probably the best songs but they are all really really good. Oh yeah, and LISTEN TO THE SOLO IN TOO CLOSE TO SEE ITS FUCKING INSANE!!

Pretty good stuff, a lot of good songs and a few boring ones. The last song is probably the best Strung Out song in my opinion, so check it out.

In theme it is similar to Hot Water Music, more about keeping a positive outlook and looking forward, not backward. I don't like it as much as their "Live in a Dive" cd, but it still rocks. I know a lot of people like it. It has a unique sound and I highly recommend this Strung Out cd.
