Interstate was a classic band before their own time. Playing a barrage of shows and busting onto the Salt Lake City hardcore scene in the summer of 1998, these guys had gained a big following in no time. Their energetic live shows were always packed and a good time for all. Touring with the likes of close friends Kid Dynamite, and even Good Riddance had gotten them some acclaim on a national level.

Their unique brand of heartfelt melodic hardcore gained them much priase, but unfortunately -- like so many great bands -- Interstate ended abruptly far before their time! Comparisons to Lifetime, Dag Nasty and other great melodic hardcore acts are pretty much on the nose for these guys. Members went on to form many other notable bands such as Nicholas, The Middle Distance, The Distraction, The Attack, and more.
