this is a good cd but it only had a few good tracks. If you want a good Adicts cd get sound of music and songs of praise they have all the good songs on it. My advice is to not get it.

There are a great many creative punk rock bands. The Adicts are up there in my book with bands like The Damned, T.S.O.L., The Misfits, and Rebel Rebel. Bands that rock out but leave you with that spooky vibe. Don't get me wrong, these guys do stand alone. This record is a great one to start out with. Songs like "Steamroller", "Viva La Revolution", "Easy Way Out", and "The Odd Couple" will make this one a pain in the ass to get out of your CD player.

the first half of this cd is awesome. not much else to say about it. the best songs are chinese takeaway, easy way out, and bad boy. i give it a three cuz the second half of this cd is when they started getting all pop-punk. i'm not in to that.

I'm not usually a person to buy "Greatest Hits" types of cds, theres always something special about having the original album. I had already owned the album "Songs Of Praise" (which i highly recommend getting if you dont already have it) for a while but after seeing The Adicts live i noticed this collection had almost all of the songs in their live set. I decided to buy it and when i got it it was much better than i expected. I automatically assumed that it was just a greatest hits album, but really it collects together EVERY ONE of their singles released to the date this compilation came out except for 7:27 which was dissapointing, but other than that this album was definitely worth getting. It encompasses their full range of music style, chronilogically going from their early Punk days to their 80s new wave complete with keyboards. I would seriously recommend this to first time listeners, and collecters. If you already know and love the Adicts, get "Songs Of Praise" or "Sound of Music" Overall, its definitely a 5 star.

This is a good CD fro anyone into early punk like the clash, misfits, or sex pistols. If your into much heavier stuff though i wouldn't recomend this CD for you

The Adicts are my favorite Clockwork Oi! band (other then Major Accident and Lower Class Brats). It was my first Adicts cd and at first I didn't like it much but then after listening to it more often I started to like it a lot. It has a lot of there good songs like Steamroller, Numbers, Chinese Takeaway, Joker in the Pack, Too Young, Sound of Music, and more but it would of been better if it would of had Love Sucks, Smart Alex, and Johnny Was a Soldier. I especially like "Falling in Love Again" because I am also into 80's New Wave music but of course not Emo or that so-called "Pop Punk" because that just gives Punk a bad name. Well the only thing I didn't like about this cd was the different version it had of Viva la Revolution which sucked.

This CD is good but nothing compared to the full length albums. As I have read in couple of the other reviews they didn't like the second half for the most part ( I thought it was kinda funny). But if you like the first half of this album go buy "Songs Of Praise" , "Sound Of Music" or "This Is Your Life". I give it a four cause I liked pretty much the whole CD. But "hey" that's me.

The first half of this album is awesome. The Adicts are like Ramones+Misfits+clockwork oi!. Great. On the other hand the second half of this album really sucks. Some of it almost sounds like indie rock/80's new wave shit. I was amazed that I liked every single song untill almost exactly the middle of the Cd, because from that point on it gets seriously hard to listen to all of the sudden. If you want to get this though its still almost worth it just for the good half, because its really good. But before you do you might want to take a look at The Very Best Of The Adicts CD because it has less songs but in my opinion more of the early and best stuff. I am giving this album only 3 stars becuase half gets a KICK ASS 5 and half gets a SUCK IT 1.
