Beyond the Embrace

Insect Song

Metal Blade 14484

Released on May 18, 2004

With their sophomore release "Insect Song", Beyond The Embrace deliver on all fronts. Barely in their twenties, a road tested, more mature and confident band collaborated with Ken Susi (Unearth) to create "Insect Song" and the results will leave metal fans slack jawed. Ferocious, melodic, and gifted modern metal band with truly old school metal riffing.

I bought this cd off of a recommendation, so it is clearly my faught that it ended up in my cd collection. But I remedied that in about 30 minutes because my friend came over who listens to crap. I gave him the cd and problem solved. This cd sounds like late 90's metallica. So if you like that, then this is your "cup of tea". I however do not, so this album was not for me.
