jeff ott tells it like it is, how he sees things, and what hes experienced in his own life. this is TRUE and HOnest rock, no candy coated, cliched punk rock stupidness. u want intelligent lyrics, this is your band; the political awareness messages will surely grab you and shine a new light on the world around you about all the bullshit we have to face everyday and how completely pointless and fucked up some of it is. so thank you fifteen for your melodic, catchy, driving music and jeff ott for your unprecedented lyrical stylings about how much life is a struggle, but if we stand up and truly fight the bullshit, we truly can take this country and this world back from those who seek to (and are) fashioning it to their own selfish agendas of pure self interest. oh yeah- "lucky" is a gem, get it 1st before this one

I was reading reviews for numerous albums on interpunk when i realized that more than half of them sound like they were written by a bunch of drunk five year olds (note: theres nothing wrong with being drunk and/or five years old, just don't write reviews while doing it. Anyways...they say things like "you're not a punk unless you own this album", what kind of shit is that? Someone also said something along the lines of 'vegan chrust punks 4 ever', to whomever said that (they most likely won't read this review since it's for fifteen, and your IQ level must exeed 20 to enjoy fifteen) fuck vegan 'chrust' punks. Oh by the way, this fifteen album is great...as is any other fifteen or crimpshine album. And one more thing. FUK PEOPLE WHO WRITE STUPID REVIEWS JUDGING HOW PUNK SOMEONE IS BASSED ON WHAT ANTI FLAG ALBUMS THEY OWN. Hmm....i'm done.

This CD was recommened to me by a shaggy headed punk rock kid. He told me that Fifteen was a great band and I had to buy this CD. I myself, thinks that this cd is pretty fucking awesome and Jeff Ott expresses that in his songs. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. Vince

Survivor...what comes to your mind just looking at the album cover? Perhaps its the struggles that Jeff has gone through to reach the place he is at right now? The cover has a broken-heart sewn back together...think for just a second. If your ready to learn a few life lessons, then buy this album.

This another great progression in Fifteen's long history. They continue to get a little more melodic, but stay with their thought-out, political lyrics. There is also a great spoken word piece by Mumia Abu-Jamal at the end. A great cd for anyone who likes political punk, and a must-have for fifteen fans.
