Sympathy 633

Released on October 3, 2000

Fronted by John Reis (ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, HOT SNAKES, DRIVE LIKE JEHU) THE SULTANS's self-titled EP is 4 bursts of ravenous, yet infectious blasting. Hammering drums and pink noise guitar buzz heinously while a blown larynx croak inviting you to join or be stampeded by shit encrusted biker boots.

This is a pretty good CD, remiscent of RFTC without the horn section. John Reis' voice fits right it with the loud guitars.

Great stuff from members of "Rocket from the Crypt". Very similar sound to Rocket minus the horns. Straight ahead punk music. If you are into "Rocket from the Crypt", "Hot Snakes", or "Drive Like Jehu". Then you will want to check this out. They have a new album coming out at the end of the month. I can't wait.
