I remember back when this CD came out nearly 11 years ago. There were rumors that Tim Armstrong was really ill, and his voice sounded horse on many of his vocals on this album. But! This album is what kind of re-invented Rancid in my opinion. They came back after "Life Won't Wait" with a super charged punk rock album. This is probably my favorite album from Rancid, due to the fact at this time period many people were drifting away from punk. Bands like The Queers, NOFX, and Ranicd kept making good punk albums so we did not have to settle for all the Emo music circulating at the time. Thank God!

BEST RANCID CD EVER. Hardcore, no gay-ass slow songs, no bullshit. Each song is incredible. They recorded most of these songs LIVE and on the FIRST TAKE. This is real punk rock. Rancid did a fine job with this one. Buy it!

there is nothing bad you can say about this cd. they have the really hard punk that we love rancid for, and there's goood melody in there too. not popppy and intolerable, rancid has found the golden mean. great guitar and bass. this is a classic rancid album, definitely up there with let's go, and ...and out come the wolves. in fact, i think i prefer this album to ...and out come the wolves. you can't go wrong with this album

No ska songs for everyone in need of a break! I like to think of this as the Rancid cd Lars was dying to do(before he took up the Bastards).

a GREAT cd by rancid. its lightyears better than life won't wait. rancid returns to the form that is similar to the sound of let's go and ...aoctw. they dropped the ska-reggae sound almost entirely for this cd and returned to their berkley punk roots. all in all its an awesome cd with great songs in which eveyone sings, except the drummer of course. DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!

What can I say? Its Rancid, just punk fucking rock. You know their albums like life won't wait and and out come the wolves where they have a little ska sound to them? This ain't one of those. Hardcore punk at its finest and it leaves no room in the pit for skankers on this one. You love hardcore fast punk then this is for you.
