Cursive is one of the many bands who's CDs I own that make me think, "Thank you Fugazi! Thank you for bringing together the power & virility of hardcore, & combining it with the feeling & honesty of emo".
Of course Cursive doesn't necessarily sound like Fugazi, but it's the mixing of juxtaposing sounds & ideas that make both bands great.
Domestica is rough & abbrasive. Domestica is Catchy & beautiful. Domestica is all these things side by side and slammed together.
Domestica is a great album. It stands out & is unique even among Cursive's other great albums. Some of my favorite tracks are: The Casualty, The Martyr, & The Radiator Hums.
Other Favorite Cursive albums: Burst & Bloom, and The Ugly Organ

This is a good CD... but if you are going to buy a Cursive CD you should get The Ugly Organ because that CD blows all their other ones out of the water. This was a good cd, not great and is missing the cello which is what makes Cursive what they are now.

Wow. That's all I can say. This CD is in my opinion Cursive's best CD ever! Every track on this CD is amazing. I agree with others who have said this CD contains tons of emotion. The emotion truly just pours out of this CD, yet Cursive is never whiny or annoying. This is a must have.

this was the only cd i didn't own from kasher and co., and bit is by far the best one period! the electricity from start to finish is unprecidented, it'll have you constantly hitting repeat. the guitar riffs are simplt amzazing and that unique cry from tim, and you can just feel the emotion tugging at your soul! 11/10 stars

Quite post-indie punk, dunno why but reminded me of Wire, Burning Airlines, The Fall. 'Radiator Hums' is a fantastic track. Good feckin album.

Why do people care who Cursive is? Its because of this album. Beautifully painful lyrics, amazing musicianship.
