I bought this because before I left the U.S. I saw them play with Hot Water Music and enjoyed the energy in their set. I guess I was drunker than I thought. I think this is definitely a band that rocks live but just doesnt hold it down on record.

This CD is awesome. The Casket Lottery can do no wrong in my opinion. All 9 songs on this CD flow very well together, and that's what makes this album so solid. However, I think overall I like Choose Bronze just a little bit more (maybe because it has more songs). But this album is definitely worth every penny if you dig the Casket Lottery.

Personally, I think this is their best album. The stop/start jangly guitars and abrasive lyrics make this album a great listen. If you're going to check out a Casket Lottery cd, get this one.

If you bought this CD, you know how amazing it is. If you are thinking about buying it-what are you waiting for? Check out Choose Bronze as well while you are at it.

This band is probably the most talented band on this web site. No joke, these guys are incredible. I can't even explain all the complicated shit in their music because I don't know enough big words. Song 2 has like a 7/8 time signature that swithches to 6/8 and to 4/4 within a minute. You will probably only like this cd if you actually play the guitar or any instrument because you really have to understand music in order to process their music. It sounds a bit like the Jazz June except a lot more complicated. Their drummer is the best drummer I have ever heard as well. All I can say is buy this cd or you will never know what an actually musicly talented band sounds like.

-Mike Chapel Sucks. He gave a bad review to Jazz June and will burn in hell.
