Why the Suicide Machines almost threw their careers away after this cd by making their S/T and Steal This Record i will never know. They had a magnificient sound with this and Destruction by Definition. Im just glad that their middle two albums were not my first taste of them. This record is fast, punktastic, and ska-nominal. Its not quite as catchy as Destruction, but it does break away from the horns. If i had to rate the albums it would go as follows: #1. Destruction By Defenition, #2. War Profiteering is Killing Us All, #3. Battle Hymns, #4. A Match and Some Gasoline, #5. Steal This Record, #6. S/T. Do yourselves a favor and get this record and remind yourself what this band could do before they stopped. It is nice to have the Suicide Machines i grew up with back again.

this is a good cd. mixes lots of genres of music (ska, punk, hardcore). suicide machines put on an awesome show. very energetic catchy melodies. if you are just getting into them then buy destruction by definition otherwise, well you know...

Suicide Machines, once called "Jack Kovorkian and the Suicide Machines", also a good band. I bought this cd after hearing there previous release "Destruction by Definiation". However, I was kind of disappointed in this one. Its a good cd, really great 2 minute punk songs like it should be but not as good as "Destruction". I am a big Suicide Machines fan, I own all of there Hollywood Records releases and I would say that this is the Second best release. If you wanna hear a good cd buy "Destruction by Defination". Listen to Punk not "Po(o)p"!

Don't know why I ordered this record. First glimpse was impressive but the whole concept (ska vs punk vs metal) is just too much. Thinks this is a live act rather than a recording act.

This was a good cd, but I have heard better from this band. Buy this cd only if your a major fan of the suicide machines.

This CD is definately one of the best records from The Suicide Machines, it's just so different from everything else floating around in the punk rock world. Not too much ska, not too much hardcore.. just perfect. Definately buy this CD, although I liked the new Suicide Machines CD(Yeah, I am wierd) I definately think this record is a lot better, it's not only got more intensity but it's just an all around better CD.
