Canadian genre-busters GRADE follow-up their acclaimed recent 7-inch with a full length album of aggressive, multi-punked shred. Anthemic bursts of blended hardcore, rock, metal, pop and punk that burn with frustration, anger, love and self-pity, delivered with the intent of bringing you up, not dragging you down.

Excellent. That's all there is to it. This is by far my favorite Grade album. This CD captures the essence of the band and delivers with every song. Pick it up if you're into screamo.............before it was called screamo.

The start of the screamo/metalcore hype. Yet when these guys where doing it it wasn't trendy. THIS CD IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY GRADE FAN OR ANY BLACK MARIA FAN!

If you are looking to buy a Grade cd, make this one it. It is their best one by far. There are only a few songs that are only o.k., and most of them just plain rock. It's a little less metal/hardcore than their other cds.

Was looking for something different when buying this album. I was unimpressed. This albums pretty boring. If you (like is was) are looking for some new tunes to add to the collection, go and find stuff by 'Johnny Truant', they are one of the most talented hardcore bands in the world but they are not on this site (??). Also recommend some 'Charger' and 'Raging Speedhorn'.

Hands down, best Grade album. Total and utter ass-kicking on a consistent basis. Really intense at times with breakdowns assuring the emotional build-up will smack the taste out ya mouf. Word.

If you're looking for something with a new sound to it, buy this album. It's got fast paced classic tunes with a screamo punk feel to it. Grade is awesome, but none of the other albums by them have compared to this one. Good stuff.

Whats not to like about them? Perfect hardcore almost, this cd rocks anytime of day. There is like one song i dont like, dont remeber which one, but otherwise this cd is sweet begin to end. Definately worth the money, i think this is one of their best cd's, and the last song is the shit. Dont miss out

approximately one year ago, i went to a small show and these guys happened to be playing. maybe it was the heat, but i thought they really rocked. the lead singer seemed to be giving it his all, despite the small size of the crowd, and really tore it up for about thirty minutes. at the time i was impressed and after the show i bought this album.

unfortunately, hardcore bands like these are as numerous as pop-punk bands these days and feature even less variation. grade fell under this category, but they are one of the better bands.

if you like bland, unoriginal, melodic hardcore that actually rocks --then buy this. otherwise, save your money and steer clear of this kind of music. -garrett

This CD is great. Since it's so short, you can listen to it twice in a row and love it. It has one of the best opening tracks of any CD. The Inefficiency Of Emotion's an awesome way to kick off a great CD full of punk/hardcore with emotional breakdowns. Grade's best album.
