This is a darn good record. A good mix of sound. Its a shame this band broke up. It seems as soon a bands hard work pays off and they make a good name for them self, they break up the band! Boy that pisses me off. I was fortunate enough to see American Steel play once with Alkaline Trio. American Steel is a classic. Think about how people talk about Operation Ivy now, because one day people will be talking the same way about American Steel! Buy this album and there last one!!!

Sucks that they've broken up and we're not getting any more from Amer Steel. This CD rules-- much harder and better than their first album.

One of those rare cds that takes absolutley no time to get into. From the very first chords of Loaded Gun, you know you are going to love this album. Like Hot Water Musics punkier cousin, this is one of the best cds i've heard for a long time. Buy it now. NOW!

This album is quite simply, a masterpiece. Every song on this album is just amazing. They have a punk/hardcore sound with an emo influence. The lead singer's voice has a rough quality to it like that of Joe Strummer or Tim from Rancid. "Got A Backbeat" is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard in my life.

This is one hell of an album. Ska, punk, even slight touches of emo...
The songs, from the blazing "Loaded Gun" to the ringing choruses of the lengthy "Parting Glass", will kick your ass in a good way. Amazing lyrics, too. Fans of Rancid will appreciate this on the same level as fans of Avail and Leatherface will. Strongly recommended......get it already.
