SLF are classic, this double album rocks. The only problem is the lack of Barbed Wire Love. The rare songs are a definite plus, really good.

Like The Clash? Like the Cockney Rejects or Sham 69? Like SLF? WHAT?! "Who's that?", you ask? This is a 2-D set that represents the carreer of the best BitPunk band that seemingly no one knows dick about, and that's a shame my friend. Listen to 'Tin Soldiers' (especially in light of Desert Storm II), '78 RPM', 'Suspect Device' (an unhearled classic) and pretty much the first disc and you'll be converted. The second disc is a littlew more experimental sounding, nowhere near as raw and fierce, a little like The Clash, as a matter of fact (Sandinista, Combat). So check it out, good stuff, I promise.

This collection is worth buying for two songs alone: 78RPM and Straw Dogs, both of which are B-sides and aren't on the full lengths. It also contains the classic singles and a few live performances. The second disc marks the downfall of SLF with crappy pop/reggae songs that lack the rawness and grit of their earlier work. If you're a fan, pick this up; otherwise go spend your money on Inflammable Material and Nobody's Heroes first.

Ok, it isn't as good as i thought it would be though. it is has that Crassy old skool sould, except faster. The only reason i like these CD's (there is 2) is because it is kinda like "the only band that matters" -The Clash

Stiff Little Fingers, the classic Irish punk band, shines in this double CD compilation. From the angry "Tin Soldiers" to "Fly the Flag", this is a CD to make you shout "Oi!". Many of the songs on this CD have been covered by the likes of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Dropkick Murphys; be sure to hear the originals here.
