So, Pedro the Lion...I have all their releases, and this happens to be their first, which i got last. At first listen, these songs are soft, simple, maybe even gospel.(David Bazan had to be labeled a christian artist somehow) But damn, the more i listened, the more these slow building songs could come at me like a bag of hammers. Bazan is one of the truest song-writers of our day, and his new stuff is really kick ass too. I'll follow him to the edges of the earth, and why the hell not.

This was my first cd from pedro the lion. i think i ordered winners never quit, but i got this. i don't really care, becuase this ep is really good. i'm usually not a fan of ep's but this ep passed the ep test for me. david's music seems to be simple, yet so beautiful. buy this ep if your a fan of slow music and any other pedro cd's

This is my least listened to Pedro album I own. I don't reccomend buying this unless you've heard it first, or are really in to the band. I really love this band, but I don't ig this ep very much. It could be much better, much much better.
