Abrasive Wheels

When The Punks Go Marching In

Captain Oi! 25

Released on November 25, 2003

$17.75

Formed in the late 70's, Leeds UK-based ABRASIVE WHEELS quickly made an impressive and not forgotten mark on both the UK and worldwide punk scene. The band's first recording on their own Abrasive Records, quickly sold its 3000 pressing thus attracting the attention of then blossoming Riot City Records. Signing with the label, the band recorded their now signature debut. Originally released in 1982, the album has for sometime been out of print and unavailable for US fans and collectors of this pivotal period in punk history. The album features 14 now-classic songs, including "Burn 'Em Down," which was later released as a single and shot up the UK indie charts .

this is decent. when you first hear songs like 'when the punks go marching in' and 'burn 'em down' before you buy this you think it will be a great cd, but its just decent. mediocre. a little bit about blan. i still really like abrassive wheels but i would suggest downloading their good songs rather than buying this whole cd.

pretty damn good. it gets a little boring when, in the middle all the songs sound the same, but it catches up towards the end. so i would recomend it, to anyone who likes bands like exploited, blitzkrieg, mau maus, gbh, varukers, or anything of that sort. best songs are "BBC", "Just another punk band", "shout it out", "the army song", and "when the punks go marching in."

This cd was really good , some of the best street punk ive heard, the first song was probably the best, that one and when the punks go marching in. i guess i just gave it a 4 cuz im more into oi, i bought this cd cuz i wanted to listen to something diffent, something a bit faster, also another good band is the partisans, i like the partisans better.

This cd was really good. My favorite songs are viscious circle, shout it out, when the punks go marching in, and the army song. anyways buy this cd you will love it, Unless you are not into old punk/oi! such as angelic upstarts, blitz, cock sparrer, and cockney rejects, because that is what this is like.
