Dade County Trash

Insubordination 56

Released on July 15, 2008

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The Crumbs been known to long time fans as a reckless, drunker-than-thou band that plays with just enough cohesion to set off a crowd with their energetic, and dirty brand of pre-77 and 50's influenced rock and roll. Since 1993, The Crumbs have been putting out records their own brand of drunk rock on labels like Recess, Far Out and Lookout! Their latest album, Dade County Trash, brings to mind influential pre-77 punk acts such as Dead Boys, the Pagans, Crime, the Stooges, and the MC5. Dade County Trash is awash with sloppy buzz-saw guitars, and booming rhythm from their hard-hitting drummer; the songs have a raw quality that has enough hooks to keep the listener singing along until last call.

The best Crumbs album since their 1996 Lookout Records! Self Titled release. Raf Classic and the boys are back with their time honored sound. Actually I think the Crumbs struggled for years being a super pop-punk band trying to cross into blues. Now they have the formula down and this CD is soooo awesome. I hope someone releases it on vinyl too.
