No Wings To Speak Of

Trustkill 39

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Hauntingly beautiful, this band mixes frenzied hardcore with deliberate screaming while suddenly changing it up with quiet melodies and inspiring singing. Four songs that explore a more melodic and atmospheric sound with a plethora of bone-crushing breakdowns.

i am a huge fan of Hopesfall. i can say that i am in love with all of their material with the exception of "A-Types," which i have never listened to due to hearing such a horrible feedback about it. aside from that, this band is everything you could ever want rolled into one band: beauty and brutality. this has definitely got to be one of their most cathartic releases, every second is extremely emotionally driven. i highly recommend this album to anyone that enjoys melodic hardcore, no, scratch that. anyone that likes hardcore. period!

This e.p. is pretty heavy, which is good, but I guess I was expecting satellite years type stuff. I totally love end of an era, great epic metal song. Also, I can't forget the hopesfall classic, April Left With Silence. I would recommend Satellite Years or maybe A Types first, but overall a decent e.p.

i just got this cd in the mail. It is totally diffrent from what i expected it to be. I had heard from other reviews that this ep was amazing, and there best release to date, and i have to agree. This cd is a masterpeice, its heavy, and hard, and amazing. It has a super dark/creepy/beautiful/sad kinda feel to it. That dosent make sense but i cant discribe it any other way. If your looking for a cd that will give you goosebumps and chills down your back every time you listen to it, look no further.

I bought this CD expecting to be alot like "The Satellite Years", but my expectations were wrong. Jay Forrest's scream rips into you like a knife but at the same time, the songs just have a haunting beauty to them, and it's just all around, one of the best CD's I've bought in the past few months.

I actually bought this record for my best friend Mike for Christmas, and we listened to it together. The results were disastrous in the best kind of way. I wept my little emo eyes out. All of my hardcore pretensions melted away with my tears of sadness, loneliness and regret. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard, brutally hardcore at points, but with its sad little heart always overflowing with painful emotion. It pulls at my heartstrings like nothing I've ever heard. I own "The Satellite Years" but this record kicks its ass. And with only four songs, that's saying something. Brilliance!

oh dear. this is one of the best eps I own. Yes, only 4 songs, but if you like hopesfall, or any kind of hardcore or metalcore or whatever, you will probably like this a lot. It's kind of expensive too, for an ep, but that dont matta. The songs on here are completely stunning, especially "end of an era", which is one of the best hardcore songs I have ever heard. It's crushing, and moving, and great, of course. And thats basically what the music is as a whole, so buy this. word.

This is amazing. It is Hopesfall, enough said. No hardcore collection is complete without this masterpiece. I would reccomend this to any fan of hardcore. Kick-your-forehead-in-screaming with melodic interludes and breakdowns this is art. you will be headbanging, crying and throwing your fist in the air all in one song. buy it.

This CD (like The Satellite Years) is ear orgasms in a digital format expressed through 1s and 0s. Real hardcore, yet beautiful and melodic. If you like Poison the Well (or any melodic hardcore) you'll prolly dig this. So buy it right now or you suck at life.

If you have any hesitations in buying this CD because of the price, DONT! It is worth every cent (or in my case penny!) as all four tracks are simply awesome!

The two that stand out most for me are "End of An Era" and "April Left With Silence" as they are the best tracks Hopesfall have ever done.

The Satellite Years is great but could have done with being a little bit more raw and heavier like this EP. Buy it!
