I find this album to be an important one but all in all not a great one. One of the lesser known firsts on the LA scene with the Germs and the Screamers, the wierdos certainly have a place in the whole history of it all. Yet, on this CD, the majority of music of when they were at their peak musically (at least in my mind) is abscent. The last tracks are the best (it goes from newest to oldest songs on the CD) and there are only a couple of standouts. Good for it's importance, but not something to run to the stores and buy.

Why more people don't know about the Weirdos is a mystery to me. The band is a classic example of mid to late 70s LA punk, along with the Germs and X. "Pagan" and "We Got the Nuetron Bomb" are the two best tracks, with no filler.
The Weirdos should get the same amount of praise as the Germs in my book
